::fencing of the garden:: *Special Edition* featuring the Ultimate Ways of Stressing you out!
This process is normally done by the teachers:
1) Giving you extra much homework without (I emphasise strongly) realising how we feel. 2) A thousand deadlines to meet. My schedule is always packed with deadlines. For CWP, SS portfolio, ECCM, CmPS. What do you expect form GEP? 3) A tonne of notes hoping you would remember. Our parents must pay the school S$20 every semester just to print this heavy stack of notes. Please remember, your homework file would weigh 3kg of your bag's weight if you never file your things. 4) How advanced can we go? Selective enrichment worksheets? Advanced English? It's Sec 1 standard/Primary 6 standard, teacher!!!
And the extra, almighty ones that people complain:
1) TEACHERS, EXP. RELIEF ONES ARE VERY VERY BORING!!!!! 2) ------------ditto----------- ALWAYS GIVE US SO DAMN MUCH HOMEWORK!!! Many of my frends would certainly agree to!
So conclusion:
I wish these dreary days of walking 10 flights(to be exact) of stairs, and listening to the daily explanation of lessons would end. But this learning process must go on in Singapore, I am so bumped! Sigh. Books, books and an extra load of small texts printed in faded print, well that is why kids these days in S'pore gets Myopia easily. Gifted Education, my dear? Hah, nice work MOE. No offence though.
Off to study irrational numbers which Mrs. Ong gave a long and boring talk on it. Don't know what pie and square root two and the e. Don't know what, diameter/circumfrence of circle = pie = 3.1415... ~ 22/7. e is used to calculate medicine or something like that, I think so. I was so bored that I yawned and almost slept during the lesson. Must she waste time on explaining pie and e? It's not even tested in the examination!!!
TEACHERS!!! And to add on to my homework list, Ms Tan gave us a total of 10 W/S which is not our syllabus..........or maybe just my syllabus.........geez! When are we going to be let off? I heard that in St. Hilda (where my cousin studies, also in GEP) every Tuesday is HOMEWORK FREE DAY! Woot! for them......
